General Motors is already planning the next generation of its vehicle strategy which will centre around new electric vehicles and a very advanced platform called GM Ultium. This platform allows for exceptional range and performance for upcoming Chevrolet and GMC electric vehicles.
We thought we would take a look at some of the electric vehicles that General Motors has planned for its Chevrolet and GMC brands. Some of the models in the list below have already arrived while others are coming soon.
The Chevrolet Silverado EV is coming as a 2024 model year truck. Unveiled earlier this year, it promises to offer the latest technology and all of the performance you expect from a Chevy Silverado and even more. You can expect up to 640 km of range and a towing capacity of between 10,000 pounds and over 30,000 pounds depending on the model.
Chevrolet has confirmed the next generation of its Blazer SUV will be fully electric. From the looks of the first images we have seen, this will be a stunning electric SUV and we can't wait to learn more.
The GMC Hummer EV has actually already arrived on the market. That said, it will become more and more prevalent in the months and years to come when the availability will catch up to the remarkable demand. Over 1,000 pound-feet of torque is possible in the GMC Hummer EV and you can reach 100 km/h in under four seconds. This is truly a high-performance truck with exceptional capability.
Just like the Chevy Silverado, the GMC Sierra EV is also getting a fully electric version. We haven't seen the specs just yet, but we do expect to deliver great capability and outstanding performance. Give us a call today to learn more.
